HULL PAINTING & SLIPWAY SERVICES – waiting times can be as little as a few days as we have good availability on our slipway for all manner of services including DIY at weekends. Our modern, well designed launching trolley can cater for all manner of craft safely and quickly recovering vessels with easy all-round access when ashore. Short waiting list and excellent rates! Don’t leave it too late – get your hull painted and protected!!!
CHANDLERY – the office now has a stock of Kingfisher yacht ropes as well as loo blue, oil, filters, fittings, Flogas, Coal, Lighters & Kindling, Anodes, Chimney accessories, Fenders, Bildgepumps, electrical connectors and many other items. Please call us if you need anything!

DIY use of slipway – This is available at a cost of £150 plus VAT per weekend with pressure washing of hull and vessel launch & recovery. Use of the slipway is granted from 4pm Friday to 8.00am the following Monday. Extra day given free for Bank Holiday usage. Please also note that non-berth holders must pay in advance.
Hard Standing is available with 240v power with advance payment for one month or more. Full details available from our team here at the marina.
GRP/Wooden Hull Antifoul treatments available – POA.
Launching & Recovery – Recovery from the water & re-launching is available. We are also able to have boats lifted from transport to our launching trolley and launched. Prices ex-cranage are £2.00 per foot plus VAT and includes 2 hours use of slipway facility. If you want your hull pressure washing please add 50p per foot to the launching and recovery fee.
Cranage is usually around £400.00 plus VAT per half day for a certified 50 tonne crane but this may vary as to which contractor is available.

I am having problems getting my Narrowboat Tarka up from London with lock closures and flood conditions on the Thames.
Last time we spoke you mentioned you had a contact in the haulage line who you use to move boats by road. Can you supply contact details.
Can I crane in at Pillings Lock or will I have to make arrangments with a boat yard nearby.
I hope to move next weekend depending on water levels If not I will have to consider moving by road.

Ian, we use Richard Depster 07836 318349 for boat transport as he’s very competitively priced and experienced in moving boats. Nearest place to crane in is Redhill Marina Tel: 01509 672770. It may be better to wait for the stoppages to finish though as end to end will probably cost over £1,000.00 including cranage. PL
