There was some service work done this week on the local power lines and we got them to take some pictures for us – have a look at our Gallery page for the fantastic views of the marina and area…just a shame the sun wasn’t out!

The mist algae that does form occasionally when the weather is hot and there is no wind is largely down to waterborn algae that is forced to the surface by detergents in peoples washing up water. We did have the water tested for blue-green last year and it was negative.
We are finding many examples of good water quality at the marina – an abundnace of fish, waterfowl and freshwater mussels.
