Finally, we are connected to mains power and have been able to dispense with the on-site generator. Delays were due to grants of access rights for the electricity cables and difficulties in actually getting the power company to come and switch the thing on! But all in all, we’re pleased that we can now start to bury the final cables and install the drainage for the car parks.
The price we retail electricity has risen as a result of the mains connection so you may find that your electricity meters need topping up a bit more regularly.
