A & B Jetty construction

A & B Jetty are now in position. There are a few more steel mooring piles to be installed on the end of B jetty and the joining pontoons at the base of B jetty are not yet installed, but the current structure illustrates how these final two Jetties will look.

It’s great to see this area taking shape and we’re very pleased with the construction schedule to date – especialy considering the minimal size of our workforce!

Jetties A to D should be ready for use (Ramps & Power installed) by April/May but we have a few free berths on E-K jetties for boats arriving in the interim.

Facilities Building Progress

The Facilities Building is now starting to look like the artists impression, with most of the roof trusses now on. Tiling of the roof started today – a few days late due to the high winds we’ve been having. The Building is still on track for second fix completion in April 2008 (Heating, lighting and bathrooms in place) and we hope to have all areas fully functioning (decorated and furnished) by June/July 2008.
