Contracts & Electricity card sales

Just a quick note to say that all contracts for completed berths on E, F, G, H, J & K jetties have now been posted. If you have one of these berths booked and have not yet received your contract (a few seemed to get lost in the recent postal strike) then please get in touch with the office immediately. Balances are due within 30 days.

Electricity cards are selling very well and although we do have staff on-site selling them during working hours we have had many calls from people who happen to run out of electricity out of working hours. Can we remind people that there is a meter on each electricity bollard telling you how much electricity credit you have left. If you happen to run out at 9.30pm on a Sunday evening, that this is not classed as “An Emergency” from our perspective and you will be required to wait until the next working day for a staff member to be available to sell you a top-up card.

This won’t always be the case as when buildings are completed the cafe will stock cards and be open longer hours, but in the meantime please do ensure you have sufficient electricity cards and credit to last you at all times.

 Cheers!

Click on the link below to see the clip featuring our marina! It was filmed on 3rd July 2007 for the BBC1 magazine program “Inside Out” and shown on the East Midlands network. Developments have moved on a heck of a lot since then thankfully as we now have over 200 moorings fully constructed. Does anyone have a helicopter to do another fly-by film from? :-)
