Pillings Lock Marina is an exciting new development near Loughborough. We are located on the start of the Loughborough Section of the Grand Union Canal – a stones throw from Pillings Lock which is a flood lock to protect the canal when the River Soar rises. This part of the Grand Union offers uncrowded, wide-beam cruising and being so near a river, is rarely (if ever) affected by winter stoppages.
